Date is the fruit of the Date Palm. It is a rich source of natural fibers it is also rich in nutrients like oil, calcium, sulphur, iron, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, copper, magnesium etc. Dates are easily digestive fruit thus it supplies quick energy. They are a perfect energy boasting snack. Contrary to common idea dates are fat and cholesterol free. It is a very rich source of dietary fiber. Researchers have found out that dry fruits have highest concentration of polyphenols, and thus implementing that they must form a greater part of ones diet. Dates contain many minerals and vitamins that help maintain a healthy body.
