Posted on Friday, November 27, 2009 in Health
Sudden fever, muscle aches, sore throat, dry cough, and in some cases vomiting and diarrhea are some of the symptoms that patients affected by a new strain of virus called H1N1, also popularly known as swine flu, suffer from. First detected in Mexico where it has left more than 100 dead, it has now moved on to the USA. Cases of swine flu have also been reported from Canada and also from a few European countries like Spain and United Kingdom. Saying there is no cause for alarm the President said the decision to declare a US public health emergency was a precautionary tool only.
